May of this year(2014) we were contacted by Jim Webb, a consultant based in the Grand Rapids, MI area. He was working with a bar, The Score, in northern Grand Rapids that was adding 104 taps to their current 24 tap count. 120 of their taps are dedicated to craft beers, most of which feature Michigan craft beer. Jim was looking for a way to help the bar be able to hold and rotate a large number of kegs necessary to support the large number of taps the bar would be putting on. A large walk-in cooler dedicated to kegs was being configured for the front of the bar as a showpiece integrated into the design of the bar. The shelving design was redesigned several times based upon our collaboration and consulting, to configure the most safe,  aesthetic, and optimal storage layout. While in the middle of the design of the “show cooler” we were also requested to provide a solution for the existing keg and case cooler in the back.
