Pre-Planned Beer Cooler Shelving Program We’ve done the Math, and We’ve found the Solution! Cooler Concepts wants to save you time when designing your beer cooler. Using the chart below, now you can pick the proper cooler size to fit the amount of beer needed for one week’s worth of usage. Whether you are an owner adding a new beer cooler to your existing location or a consultant specifying a beer cooler into a project for the keg storage, you may decide to select a pre-planned beer cooler; usually referred to in the industry as “quick-ship”. Cooler manufacturers provide these coolers in standardized sizes, which can ship in a fraction of the time and can save a small percentage of the cost over a designed from scratch walk-in cooler. Cooler Concepts is making it easier to provide customers and consultants with a better understanding of what these standardized coolers will support (in terms of storage capacities and properly sized draft beer systems), while using our custom beer cooler shelving. For that, we have designed our Pre-Planned Beer Cooler packages. Each of the five standardized walk-in cooler sizes listed below have three variations for flexibility: (a) kegs only storage, (b) mostly kegs and some cases, & (c) some kegs and mostly cases. Note: Quick-ship coolers may not always be the best choice to maximize the storage in the cooler’s footprint.
