We have recently completed work on Bottleneck Management’s 4th installment of their Old Town Pour House (OTPH) brand with our dealer Stuever & Sons. Once again the concept has 90 flavors of beer on tap. With the shelving installed in the cooler, there is room for 208+ tappable kegs to support the number of beer taps. As you walk into the beer cooler, front and center are (2) Double Deep keg shelving units with Front Facing Beverage Panels (FFP) coming off the opposite wall. We took careful measurements of the long I-beam supporting the roof of the cooler to make sure that our FFP for the beer controls had enough clearance to the bottom. To the center island unit’s left and right are Double Deep keg shelves against the walls. The sizes of the shelving used were made to fit on either side of the support posts for the beam. The final piece of shelving is our Single Deep keg shelf that attaches to the face of the left wall’s Double Deep shelving. While providing additional storage for kegs it is also protecting the galvanized pipe that enters the cooler through the door wall. All this shelving with kegs of beer and the cooler still maintains a minimum of 30” clean and clear aisles.
