While traveling to New Buffalo Michigan to install the keg racks for STRAY DOG BAR, we stopped by and handed out brochures to the other bars in the area. One of the locations we wandered into was Jimmy’s Bar & Grill. After speaking with the GM, we handed her a brochure and business card. We completed the install at Stray Dog and went home. The next day we received a call from Jim the owner of Jimmy’s. He liked the brochure and asked us to design a shelving solution for his keg area. It was roughly 120 inches wide. We got the dimensions form Jim and put together a layout that he liked and ordered. We never saw the actual cooler. It was for a single deep keg shelf, that held 14 kegs of beer. While our President Bill Dunnett Jr was installing the shelving for Jimmy’s and noticed a 24 by 48 wire rack that held their case beer. After completing the install Bill spoke to the Bar Mgr and explained that with such a tall cooler they could free up a lot of storage by placing the cases above the kegs. So, we put another proposal together for Jim, and he liked it and ordered it. The end result was 14 kegs for 8 taps and 30 cases in storage above. You can see by the picture how much more efficient the cooler is now. In our business, “If you don’t ask – You don’t get”.
