Immediately following another Chicago St. Patrick’s Day weekend (2013), Cooler Concepts was hard at work providing a lasting solution to another underutilized and overcrowded beer cooler. Our local dealer Stuever & Son’s had just updated Brewstone’s beverage system; putting 24 individual beers on tap in the cramped cooler’s space(just over 6 feet tall inside). Not only did the necessary storage consist of a multitude of kegs (51+) but also case beer products (54) and individual bottles. Both the left door wall and back wall had the beverage controls mounted on them and we provided the Single Deep Keg Shelf to span the length of both walls. The center of the cooler’s space was to be designated for back up kegs on the floor, and a Single Deep Case Shelf for the case storage above. With the case products  moved  up into place, there was room below the low-hung evaporator on the right wall to place the existing wire shelving system they had beneath, once we removed the uppermost shelf. This allowed them to reuse the wire rack that was previously along the left wall. Now they have safe aisles to work in and no dangerously double stacked kegs that could fall and cause harm.
